I have let Samantha answer the phone a few times recently. When I heard her the other day say, "WHOISIT?" I used the opportunity to correct her when she was done. I explained that it was far more polite to say, "May I please ask who is calling?".
She looked at me like I was insane. "Mom," she said, rolling her eyes, "that's not really on my schedule."
