Hail is a frequent winter visitor to this area – but until this morning I have never seen the storms last very long, or the hail to accumulate.

I’m now looking out at a blanket of little white ice beads. It looks like a bean bag broke over the town of Tillamook.

It gave me great pleasure to see a jacked up Chevy with a Confederate flag on its rear window go skidding around a corner on Main St. when I dropped Samantha at school this morning.

The hail made quite an impression on Magda. (or should I say the opposite was true since you can see in the picture Magda's impression on the hail ;-)
