Hey - If I am taking your picture - can I ask a few favors?

1. Wear simple clothes - avoid shirts with words - plaids, stripes etc. Solid dark colors are usually the best bet
2. Make eye contact with the camera
3. Relax - think of something that makes you happy (cold beer, warm puppies, etc.) Everyone has pictures of themselves they don't like. I PROMISE I WON'T use them against you. I am happy to discard photos that are unflattering.
4. Put your weight on your back foot - it is slenderizing
5. Don't square your shoulders to the camera - also not flattering
   
6. Stand near a light source - preferably natural one - like a window
7. Pay attention to what your hands are doing
