Theoretically, I shouldn't have had any language problems when visiting the UK. I have been speaking English for 38 years or so. In practice though, my translation skills faltered occasionally. One of my favorite (or as they would say favourite?)UK passtimes during the down time was photographically documenting the signs I saw which I found confusing, interesting or funny.
