Chuck and I went to three different parent teacher conferences yesterday at three different schools (Lina at THS, Charlie at East, Samantha at Liberty) and, it turns out, all three of our kids are brilliant and a pleasure to have in class!! Hooray for us!
The kids have been out of school all week. The flooding on top of previously scheduled parent teacher conference days means they are essentially housebound and all three are getting a wee bit restless. We finally sent the teenager to Canon Beach today in the rain. Chuck was heading to Astoria and is going to drop her and a friend off so that they can shop for the day.
